Dubai Chamber opens a new representative office

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has opened a new representative office in India, the largest growing market in South Asia. This is another important step to expand its presence in Asia, with the aim of enhancing business ties between Dubai and India in addition to stimulating businessmen to exploring the investment opportunities and encourage mutual investments between the two parties.
The new office in India is considered the tenth in the global market, with offices in Panama, Sao Paulo-Brazil, Baku in Azerbaijan, Addis Ababa in Ethiopia and Erbil in Iraq, Accra in Ghana, Maputo in Mozambique, Nairobi in Kenya and Shanghai in China.
Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Director General Hamad Bou Emaim said: "The Dubai Chamber attaches great importance to the Indian market and, as one of Dubai's largest trading partners, it also has a promising opportunity to stimulate sustainable growth for our business partners. The opening of this office is a reflection of our commitment to explore investment opportunities that benefit the business community in Dubai and to underscore our keenness to develop our business and economic relations with India and expand cooperation in other fields."
